Show Page
I have added this page to show off and honour the people that have shown ragdolls which I have bred. I would also like to point out that there are many Ragdolls being shown today with Adoring parents on at least one side of their pedigrees who are consistantly doing well in the show ring, being made up to champions, which is lovely to see. Many thanks to Louise Shankster who shows cats from my lines as pedigree pets and has won several Best in Shows, Louise is a very loving ragdoll owner who has been a pleasure to support through the years, she has only bred two litters and decided breeding is not for her as she cannot part with her babies, :) but she loves showing her ragdolls and is often seen at shows. Thankyou so much to everyone that has shown Adoring Ragdolls and keeping me updated.

WHY SHOW YOUR RAGDOLL CATS I have been showing my Ragdolls for a number of years now and am happy to say I have bred several Champions, Grand Champions and Imperial throughout the years. I believe it was initially important for me to get to know what a good type Ragdoll is through the advice and feedback recieved from GCCF show judges and also from other show breeders. You get many eyes on your cats at shows and it is also a great place to meet other breeders and learn more about your breed. I now occasionally show my Ragdolls to continue to monitor and maintain good type, but after many years of breeding I am now confident in my knowledge and experience of good Ragdoll type. I really love the old type ragdoll look and am fortunate to own a copy of the Definitive guide to Ragdolls. When I look at all the photos within its pages of the original Ragdolls brought into the UK in the 1980's I realised that the best of these examples, are the type of Ragdoll I am interested in re producing in my breeding programme. I plan to do this through selective breeding based on type, health and temperament. I have experimented with lots of different lines and learn new things every year about the health and type of the breed I love and cherish. I am always willing to learn new things and thank all those breeders, judges and exhibitors that have helped me do so. |
Grand Champion Adoring Colonal Mustard
Sire IGC General Ginger of Patriarca (IMP) Dam Emerisle Hermionne Mustard loves showing and has achieved his two Grand certificates both times out. I had the pleasure of handling Mustard recently and noticed he has developed into a lovely big boy, he has always had a nice calm kind temperament which made him ideal for showing. Mustard AKA Comet got his third Grand 12/7/13 a the Eastern Counties Cat Show. A big well done and congratulations go out to Julie his owner |
